Oh, The Beaumont. (Or Beaumonts, as Lincoln Parkers affectionately call it). If you’ve ever been here, you likely have an embarrassing drunken story to accompany your visit.

Most people take advantage of The Beaumont as one of Lincoln Park’s few 4am bars. It’s true appeal is that you can continue your night after the rest of the bars close, without having to trek downtown. Because partiers flock to this spot as a late-night option, you can expect patrons to be three sheets to the wind and ready to give their dancing shoes a workout. Beaumont also frequently has a long line beginning at 2am when the other bars close.

There are a couple of rooms in the bar, so you can choose your scene accordingly. There are booths and bar stools for those looking for something a little more chill, while the back room is one huge sweaty dance floor. The place definitely caters to a younger crowd — drunk college kids means sticky floors, untidy bathrooms, and lots and lots of bad dancing. But if you’re looking for a place to throw back a few shots and get down, Beaumonts is your spot. There are drink and food specials daily, so the place is never going to put a huge dent in your wallet.
