Situated directly behind the Pritzker Pavilion, the Harris theater is one of the gems in the Millennium Park crown and, as of 2003, one of the great venues in Chicago for viewing dance and music events.

The Chicago Fringe Festival runs September 1-11 in Pilsen, and will consist of 50 different hour-long productions by not only local companies, but also across the United States.

Happening Thursdays through Saturdays, Summer Dance Chicago features a different style of music from around the world, and attendees are invited to learn the dance style associated with the music before a live band takes the stage to kick the proceedings into high gear.

The West Loop’s Studio L’Amour is run by Chicago’s own Michelle L’Amour, a burlesque goddess known all over the country. In response to pleas from her fans, she opened the instructional studio in June of 2008.
