Tucked into a residential street in Ravenswood just a few blocks from the center of Lincoln Square, this is the type of place at which I could see myself becoming a regular. It’s Italian. It’s BYOB. And it’s inexpensive. A triple threat in my book.

We at UPchicago are fanatics for anything Argentine, including the country’s oh-so-fabulous cuisine. So, when we decided to check out Tango Sur to celebrate a birthday the other night, we had high expectations to say the least.

Dib manages two cuisines successfully, which is a feat: Thai, but also sushi, which is traditionally Japanese. I am usually leery of restaurants that purport to exercise mastery of both, but Dib gets it right.

With a unique twist on Mexican fare, this small Lakeview spot has excellent service and quality, fresh food.
