How long have you lived in Chicago? Born and raised in Gotham City.

What neighborhood do you call home? Why did you decide this was the right place for you?
Roscoe Village –- A cozy nook of dive bars and incredible brunch spots. Quiet, but steps away from loony town if I fancy a getting my loon on.

What brought you to Chicago? What keeps you here?
Born here. Went away to school and travelled for a few years after college –- decided it’s the best city in the world

What’s your favorite free (or super cheap) activity in Chicago? Theatre. Comedy Improv. Story Slams. Festivals in the summer.

Favorite off-the-beaten path spot:
The Hungry Brain in Roscoe Village. Best dive bar in the city.

Favorite deep dish locale:
Rosangelo’s. Thin crust…Vito and Nick’s.

Favorite local store or restaurant:
Victory’s Banner (insane vegetarian brunch) or Pick Me Up Café (Open 24-hours!)

Favorite local celebrity or the one you want to meet most: Chicago Bulls player, Derrick Rose (and I’ve met him….what a legend)

Favorite street:
Lincoln. Best street to bike, cuts straight through the city.

Silliest thing you’ve noticed about Chicagoans:
On a sunny day, no matter how cold, some idiot will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. And, a lot of times, that idiot is me.

Advice you would give to someone moving to Chicago?
Bundle up and quit complaining. You whiner. You have a long way to go until summer.

Advice you would give to someone visiting Chicago?
Ride your bike around to get a good feel for the city. It’s an awesome way to discover hidden happenings.

If you were gone for 5 years and came back, what’s the first thing you would do?
Maul an Italian Combo Sandwich – Italian beef atop an Italian sausage, and hot peppers with au jus gravy.
