The Jay Pritzker Pavilion is a summertime hub for music lovers. Thanks to a handful of sponsors, the City of Chicago and the Department of Cultural Affairs play host to the Summer Celebration in Millennium Park each year. Chicagoans flock to the Loop every night of the week (and even some afternoons) for a uniquely Chicago experience: great music in an even better setting.

This year there are a variety of concerts, including everything from indie rock to hip-hop to classical music. Best of all, the concerts are free! So, grab a bottle of wine, a blanket and a few friends and head to Millennium Park. There’s nothing more true to Chicago summers than listening to good music in one of the city’s most beautiful landscapes with the towering skyline as a backdrop. Oh, and beware of spontaneous dance parties!
