Everyone needs a go-to first date restaurant. A place with good food and an eclectic menu, sophisticated yet not terribly pricey. With locations in the Gold Coast and Bucktown, Feast is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner or an evening out with the girls. The atmosphere is posh but relaxed, and the scrumptious food — American with a slight twist — includes creative dishes like mac and cheese with roasted tomatoes and bacon and butternut squash ravioli. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, Feast caters to patrons of all ages, including children. Visit their website for hours and to view the different menus, as the two locations don’t keep the same hours and offer slightly different cuisine. Both locations have space for private parties, and owner Debbie Sharpe also offers catering as an option for off-site affairs. Previous catering customers of hers include Paul McCartney and Madonna, so you’ll be in good company if you choose the catering route! Feast is a refreshing break from the traditional in terms of its dishes and decor; so instead of choosing the same old restaurant you frequent every week, opt for a Feast!

I love this restaurant it is one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast. However, I must say that the Bucktown location is far better than the Gold Coast one. Bucktown has far better service food and clientele. Feast fits well in Bucktown and serves up great food, I personally love their skillets. So if you are heading out for some good food head to the Bucktown spot and enjoy the nice patio.

After having one of the best meals at a restaurant that I had in awhile for dinner at Feast in Bucktown, I knew I had to return for their brunch. My brunch at their Gold Coast location cemented this restaurant as my new favorite and a place that I would recommend to anyone in Chicago (visiting or local). Great food with interesting twists at completely reasonable prices. Both locations have great outside seating areas although it’s first come first serve and Sunday brunch will stick you with quite a wait. Eggs Benedict (served in about 5 different ways) seems to be their specialty. I highly recommend the Eggs Portobello.
