Like to eat? Me too. If street fests focusing on culinary deliciousness is what you crave, skip the other lists, this one is for you. This list of festivals is dedicated to the foodies this summer.

Chicago Mayfest
When: June 3-6
Where: 4700 N. Lincoln. Lincoln and Leland, Lincoln Square neighborhood.
Price: Free
Basic Info: Mayfest in June? Oh, those silly Germans with their giant steins and delicious German food. You can get all that at Lincoln Square’s Mayfest complete with maypole dancing and a Mayfest queen.

Ribfest Chicago
When: June 11-13
Where: 4000 N. Lincoln, Lincoln and Irving Park Road.
Price: $5 donation
Basic Info: Ribs, ribs, ribs! Including a rib eating contest, other local food vendors, and live music.

Fiesta Puertorriquenas
When: June 16-20
Where: 1400 N. Sacramento, Humboldt Park.
Price: Free
Basic Info: This fest is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture in a heavily Puerto Rican neighborhood. Food and drink vendors, craft vendors, and live music on site.

Festa Pasta Vino
When: June 18-20
Where: 2400 S. Oakley Avenue, Little Tuscany.
Price: $3-7 donation
Basic Info: Like Italian food? This fest is for you. Authentic food, live entertainment, and kids activities.

Taste of Randolph
When: June 18-20
Where: 900 W. Randolph, West Loop.
Price: $10 donation
Basic Info: Lots of food vendors and live music.

Chicago Arabesque
When: June 24-26
Where: 50 W. Washington, Daley Plaza, The Loop.
Price: Free
Basic Info: Learn about traditional Arab culture with Arab cuisine and daily Arab entertainment. Clothing and craft vendors.

Taste of Chicago
When: June 25-July 4
Where: 100 E. Congress Parkway, Grant Park.
Price: Free

Roscoe Village Burger Fest
When: July 10-11
Where: 2000 W. Belmont Avenue, Belmont and Damen. Roscoe Village.
Price: $5-7
Basic Info: Labeling itself a burger fest, this festival has a pretty big focus on live music as well. Two different stages feature live bands rotating every couple hours. Food vendors will cook up their best burger. Drink vendors and kids activities available.

Taste of Little Village
When: July 10-11
Where: 2600 S. Kostner Avenue, 26th Street and Kostner Avenue, Little Village/Pilsen.
Price: Free
Basic Info: Food vendors, crafts, and kids activities.

Windy City Ribfest
When: July 16-18
Where: 4810 N. Broadway, Lawrence Avenue and Broadway, Uptown.
Price: Free
Basic Info: Battle of the ribs! A rib cook-off, other food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and live music.

Taste of River North
When: July 17-18
Where: 630 N. Kingsbury Street, River North.
Price: $5 donation
Basic Info: Local food and drink vendors, live music, and retail. Kids and pet activities. Also features the Jesse White Tumblers and ComedySportz improv group.

Taste of Lincoln Avenue
When: July 24-25
Where: 2400 N. Lincoln Avenue, Lincoln Park.
Price: $7-10
Basic Info: Six blocks of Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park filled with food and drink vendors and live music. Arts vendors and kids activities included. An UPchicago personal favorite.

Taylor Street Italian Festival
When: August 6-8
Where: 1000 S. Ashland, Taylor & Ashland, Little Italy.
Price: $3-7
Basic Info: There can’t be anything wrong with a festival with lots of Italian food. Italian food and drink vendors. Live music and a market as well as a Sunday Mass.

Taste of Greece 2010
When: August 28-29
Where: Halsted and Van Buren, Greektown.
Price: Free
Basic Info: A celebration of Greek culture with Greek food, dance, and music.

Taste of Polonia
When: September 2-6
Where: Jefferson Park.
Price: $7
Basic Info: Mmm pierogis, sauerkraut, polish sausage, oh my! Combine all that with some polka bands (and ok, some American bands too) and you’ve got a guaranteed good time. Arts and crafts, kids activities, and a Sunday Mass are on schedule as well.

Guiness Oyster Fest
When: September 18
Where: Damen and Roscoe, Roscoe Village.
Price: $5 donation
Basic Info: Fresh oysters and guiness that won’t stop flowing. Need I say more?

Rib-a-Que Smoke-out
When: September 25
Where: Moonshine Brewing Company, Ukrainian Village.
Price: Visit http://www.moonshinechicago.com for details on tickets.
Basic Info: Chefs compete to be Smoke Out champion. Ticket holders can visit their booths for food and drink. Who will be this year’s winner?

Chicago Gormet
When: September 25-26
Where: Millenium Park
Price: Pricey alert! Check out http://www.chicagogormet.com for details.
Basic Info: The city’s hottest chefs do cooking demonstrations and some of the best wines are provided by city sommeliers. A foodie’s dream.

Eli’s Cheesecake Festival
When: September 25-26
Where: 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive.
Price: Free
Basic Info: This fest benefits the New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disable and The Greater Chicago Food Depository. Bring a canned good for a free piece of cheesecake and enjoy cheesecake eating contests, cooking demonstrations, and an antique car show.
