Neighborhood Overview

River East is a small, yet growing neighborhood most defined currently by the best movie theater in the city, the Fox & Obel Food Market, and the emergence of high-rise condominiums sure to be the next big place to purchase your first home. With its proximity to the lake, the river, and Navy Pier, there really is no better place to take in a nice view of the city and then head down to a popular new restaurant for a night on the town. The River East Art Center on Illinois is an art gallery that is also a popular place for events. There is no doubt that River East is only going to continue to grow.
