Though Dan Rico was born and raised on the North Side of Chicago, he's constantly on the look out for new places to explore and experience. He studied English at UIC before dropping out to pursue music and travel. When he's not playing a show or practicing with one of his many musical projects, he enjoys cooking elaborate meals, watching the sunrise at the beach, riding around on his scooter, hiking through forest preserves, free museum days, chess, pinball, road trips, and obscure movies from times long ago. His biggest influences are Elvis Presley, Prince, T Rex, and Chet Baker, to name a few. He also suffers from X-files induced insomnia and bites his nails.
